For the 11th time we will be rocking the popular French ski resort out of it’s summer slumber, from 30/11 until 07/12/2013!
That means for you that besides loads of fun on the pistes you will also be enjoying party, activities, music and fun, fun, fun! Around midday, if the weather conditions permit so, DJs are turning up the beats on the slopes and in the open-air apres ski area you can party hard in the afternoons. Skiers and snowboards can pick up a grilled sausage and mulled wine for a small charge to build a base for the rest of the evening. After the sun has disappeared, the party really gets going. Fun tournaments, such a ball games in the snow, an open-air party and two live concerts by the cover band “No Speech”, as well as various parties in the most popular locations of Les 2 Alpes will keep you heated up nicely until the early morning hours.
The ultimate season opening event is waiting for you – and that for a really fair price. From as little as £140 for 7 days incl. a 6 days lift pass you can already be part of the Pow(d)er Week 2013. Accommodations range from basic to luxury apartments – it is your choice. All located centrally, in close proximity to bars, discos, supermarkets and the gondola which takes all the winter sports fans right up into the heart of the ski area. Of course the party entry fees and participation in all Pow(d)er Week events is also included in the price.
The lift pass “Les 2 Alpes” is your entry ticket to one of the most attractive glacier ski areas worldwide. The skiable area stretches up to 3,600 m altitude. 239 km of pistes and 53 lifts are available for the winter sports enthusiasts to get from A to B. Les 2 Alpes has something to offer for everyone: blue and red pistes at an altitude of around 3,000 m, which is quite rare for a beginner area, and challenging black mogul slopes right down into the valley. The longest piste, by the way, is 17 km long! But that is not the only form of winter sports Les 2 Alpes has to offer. Especially freeriders and freestyler will find good territory here – on the spectacular and popular deep powder snow slopes to La Grave and with a superlative snow park, located at 2,600 m altitude. It is divided into various areas. There is a kids park specially for the little ones with a slide zone with smaller jumps and low obstacles for the first tries. Additionally there a 120 m long half-pipe according to FIS standard, and a 9×6 m wall. Further there are also larger obstacles and jumps for the pros within the scene. A boardercross run and a Big Air Bag round off the magnificent offer.
Like the sound of that? Come to season opening and book Pow(d)er Week 2013.
